TAJ: My name is Taylor Johannigman, and this blog was originally started to document my volunteer trip to the Dell Cheetah Centre in Parys, South Africa. I took this trip during a gap year between my Freshman and Sophomore years of college, a time that was filled with a whole bunch of existential and quater-life crises. I emerged from those crises in one piece, however, and with renewed passion for school and learning. Mt trip to South Africa reminded me of what I love and why I love it. Namely, I love wild animals. Especially wild canines and felines. That trip lasted only one month, but rather than abandon this blog to some forgotten corner of the internet, I am going to try to keep up with it. Most of the time, I'll probably write about animals. The other part of the time, I may digress into topics such as Doctor Who, baking, or art. WE SHALL SEE.
