Today the closest thing I have to exciting wildlife is the green anole lizard that has taken up residence on my back porch:
It is so hard to believe that it has already been a year since I was in South Africa. All I want to do is go back! Especially now that we are entering exam/final season here at the university, I find myself looking back at my Africa pictures when I probably should be studying. To make matters worse, I made the mistake of following the Dell Cheetah Centre on Facebook, so I get updates about Tigger's new enclosure or Jade's new enclosure and I want to be there to see it all. But work comes before play, and at least my love for South Africa and its wildlife will [hopefully] get me through classes like Chemistry that are necessary in order for me to study there.
In other news, only four more weeks until freedom (aka summer break). Then I will be heading back to Cincinnati to work in a lab and to volunteer at Red Wolf Sanctuary. I haven't seen Rosie since last summer, and I am quite worried that she might have forgotten who I am...Sometimes I see a fox in the woods behing my apartment building and I want to go cuddle with it but I have a feeling it would not be quite so enthusiastic about that idea as Rosie is. So I refrain myself and look forward to the day where I can cuddle with Rosie.
Not much exciting to report other than that. Except for the fact that Doctor Who has started up again, which makes my weekends approximately 51.6% better than previous weekends. That number is based on advanced calculations that I will not confuse you with here.
